We are thrilled to announce that the first WA Concert Series of 2025 will take place on March 9 at the Tenri Cultural Institute under the theme “Wind Miniatures!” This program will feature the NYC premiere of Gabriela Ortiz’s Los Dolly Sisters for Clarinet and Alto Saxophone, performed by the wonderful saxophonist Carrie Koffman and myself, Ayako Oshima. Additionally, Charles Neidich and Ayako Oshima will present the NYC premiere of Elinor Armer’s Three Sonnets for Woodwind Pairs – Double Sonnet for Two Clarinets. Alongside these extraordinary works, we are excited to announce our collaboration with the renowned pianist, Mohamed Shams.
