Please join us for the next WA concert presenting the NY Licorice ensemble.
the NY Licorice Ensemble was founded by clarinetist Ayako Oshima, All the members studied in New York with Ayako's husband, the well known clarinetist, Charles Neidich. The Members have received awards at many international competitions. The members are a variety of ages and have performed in Asia, the United States, and Europe.
The New York Licorice Ensemble has released two recordings on the Penguin Record label in Japan, including Warabe-uta Remix (2016) and Licorice Rhapsody (2015). The group also released a disc in 2013 entitled New American Works for Clarinet Ensemble on NAR Records.
